The Ions is a sonozyme machine that combines ultrasound and iontophoresis, an integral part of medical skincare rejuvenation treatments.

How it works?

Ultrasound
Acoustic energy that produces heat and kinetic energy by creating microscopic vibrations between body tissues and skin cells. It uses ultrasonic waves to widen the gap between dead skin cells, allowing active ingredients to penetrate the skin.

1 million vibrations per second stimulates and activates each skin cell.

The deep motion of sound waves generates heat by friction between molecules, increasing the temperature of the skin by 0.5~1 degrees to promote blood circulation and metabolism.

Synthesize collagen and elastin for firming and anti-wrinkle effects

It helps to reduce the redness of flushed skin caused by dilated capillaries.

Iontophoresis
Iontophoresis is a non-invasive treatment/technique that uses direct current to ensure that beneficial substances and ingredients are absorbed into the skin. 
This works on the basic magnetic principle that like charges repel each other while opposite charges attract. By applying a direct current to the skin using electrodes, iontophoresis drives charged particles of a medication or substance into the deeper layers of the skin, enhancing its absorption and efficacy.
In Korea, iontophoresis is widely used in medi spas and dermatology clinics as a treatment to penetrate vitamin C, a substance that inhibits melanin synthesis and helps collagen synthesis in the dermis layer.

1 year warranty

The manufacturer provides a 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects. (1 year from date of purchase) This does not include normal wear and tear, consumable items and abuse/misuse. If there is a manufacturer defect the manufacturer will provide technical support and replacement parts if needed. Installation of parts will need to be performed by the end user as there currently is no North America based service center. We do not offer exchange or refund.

This is a 220V-only device, so you'll need to use a transformer

As these machines are authentic Korean Manufactured Esthetic devices designed for use in Korean spas, they require a voltage transformer for use in North America. We can provide a list of recommended transformers to use. Please contact us at info@pureraum.com with any questions regarding transformer usage.
